Happy Mothers Day to all the MNSTR Mamas. In light of todays festivities we wanted to take the opportunity to have a chat with one of our fav Mamas. MNSTRS very own Head of Marketing & Creative Amy Lenehan (aka @amysunshine).
Where can we find you on the weekends?
We are high energy - so we are always out in the wild. Surfing or flapping our wings while we run with the wind, collecting shells, or creating things with paints or clay or things we find. Spontaneity, play & music are our love language so we really just go where we wanna flow and we love to adventure into the unknown & hanging with like minded families.

What have you learnt being a Mama?
It feels more like an unlearning. Just to be real, enjoy life, stay present, let things go, have faith, play, be with it all. T & Z inspire me beyond belief and I love continually getting to know them. They're just little humans who wanna hang out and getting to see the world through the curious eyes of a child is a constant reminder to not take things so serious. They have really been my greatest teachers & allies.
What inspires you?
I will be eternally fascinated with life. It continually blows me away and challanges me. Just when I think I got it all sussed - I don't. I started writing a list of things that inspire me and their was ALOT so I backspaced and really thought deeply about what has inspired me lately and its people in action in there element, That and mother nature doing its thing. I recently witnessed a Russian busker playing an epic drum set in the streets of Hong Kong with glass and plastic bottles from the bin which blew my mind. I also had the opportunity to help lift a paraplegic man out of the surf on to his wheelchair after he had been out for a surf at the pass in Byron which inspired me beyond belief ( if he can surf - anyone can). Human beings are powerful creatures who live in an incredibly fascinating playground and never cease to inspire me with what they are capable off if they decide.

How do you balance life, creativity, work and fun?
To me its all one and the same thing. Make your life & work, fun & creative & wallah = Magic. I tune into the flow of whats next and sometimes thats the to do list and that feels really great and other times its go for a surf or have a dance, so I listen to that. Working on multiple projects with like minded people who prioritise creativity whilst getting shit done - has made this nomadic life real, enjoyable and fluid. I also have an incredibly present family that keep the juggle easier - community is everything!
